You do know that you won't be able to play games online over 3G? The 3G service will be more for downloading content, browsing online and messaging friends. Playing a game over 3G will make it impossible to play because of the sheer amount of lag it will cause.

Also the 3DS's touch screen can serve as a second analogue stick because now the touch screen can recognise the entire finger tip where as on the previous models of the DS the touchscreen could only recognise pointy objects such as styluses and finger nails.

yes i know but from what ive heard at the playstation meeting some lan capabilities will come with 3g capabilities which tell you what people around you are playing. unless im wrong and it doesnt come because of 3g.

the second analog stick is to change the camera, im sure gamers will be happy whent their finger will always be on the downard touch screen making it useless.

Cause that's somehow different than having your finger on an analog stick the same distance from your buttons?

lol at monster hunter being perfect for the 3ds. its not. monster hunter focuses on lan, and the ngp has very good lan capabilities with psn and 3g. also dual sticks>circle pad.

No shit, man. Nintendo should get their asses together and add wires to their systems or they are getting no MH.

am i saying that the ngp is going to get mh? no im not, but when it comes to hardware ngp would suit mh better.

also i want mh on ngp because i want to play it, i dont care about sales in japan. ahh the irony.

The 3DS has very similar wireless LAN functionality to the NGP. Things like sleep mode tagging were obviously announced for the 3DS long before the NGP, and new functionality like alerts when you're within LAN range of someone else playing the same game would be very beneficial to Monster Hunter.

yes and ngp has 3g and dual analogs.

...

What does NGP having 3G and dual analogs have to do with the 3DS getting MH?

PS3 had PSN and Dual Shock. Guess what...Wii got a Monster Hunter game! D=

This thread was suppost to be whether ppl believed if monster hunters wld make its way to th 3DS or not..not a NGP and 3DS competition.

what do you expect.  two new systems coming out and every thread will be a comparison.  hell you ask if pokemon gray comes out for 3DS and people will say that it would be better coming out on NGP.  Or uncharted would get brought up for some reason.

Reason NGP got brought up here was that there are still idiots that think 3G will be used for gaming, and thus think that this social game would be better suited on NGP cause you can play in places without wifi on your 3G network.

I liked Wii's controls for MH3 not the classic control one either. The Wiimote and Nunchuck works very well (if you turn the motion garbage off).

well i for one would love to see monster hunter come to both NGP and the 3DS. I've never played a monster huinter game but the new monster hunter portable 3rd looks rlly good so wld definitely try it. As far as the 3ds and the ngp goes, Ive already pre-ordered the 3ds. Now the ngp on the other hand ill prob wait a wile before i buy it because the psp never came out with any good games.  Ive had the psp for like 6 or 7 yrs (rlly dont know) and ive bought 1 game for it being Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. I have played other games on it(never pirated or stole games either) but they just were not that good.
