Look, is PS Move selling Kinect numbers? Most likely not.

Is SONY profiting from PS Move sales? Probably so.

Are controller sales so important that they need to mention them frequently? Anyone link me to old reports after PSEye was released?

Is SONY continue to create Move enabled titles? Yes.

The final one alone says that while the sales may not be earth shattering they are still most likely enough to let us know that sales are "enough" and that support is warranted.

My mention of "not a contest" only related to the bragging of number, which to be honest is not required with peripherals.

Even VGChartz seems to have stopped giving regular guesstimates of both peripherals sales.

They'll probably announce them at GDC, ditto for Microsoft. If they don't then I suspect the reason is that they have nothing much good to report on that front. No news is often bad news, especially in the console business.

My point was to give a reasonable answer as to why they still do not report any numbers.

1st line - rubbish,  what gives a need to update any numbers? Why do you think this site exists? Go check why we have VGC pro

2nd line - even a 3 mill userbase is going to appeal to first party devs to implement it, but how many new first or 3rd party move games have been announced? not that either have much baring on how well its sold given sony's stance "it's a long burner" I don't even get why you bothered saying "I'm sure sales are fine"? so what? again I'm not asking for numbers only if they're bad LOL I want them whatever they are.

3rd line - We do Kinect vs Move articles here to judge userbase so third partys have an idea on the userbase sizes. It may not be a "contest" but the argument is valid, very valid, when a dev is thinking about where to make a Kinect or a move game.
