They gave Mario Super Sluggers a 5.5, Mario Strikers Charged a 7.3 and New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis a 9.3.

Haha I got excited for a second.  Thought it might be a new game.

No shit... for the PSP too?  Well I'll have to buy that.

It's the best Strategy RPG game released in my book.

 

It's basically the game that ended up defining the genre of every SRPG NOT named Fire Emblem.

It took a lot of years before Valkyria Chronicles offered viable alternative for the genre ;)

Not really.  It's still using the same basic framework.

If you mean the "Action based" gameplay... Valkria Chronicles isn't the first to do that.  That would be (to my knowledge)...  Zed two's game Future Tactics.


Really, gameplay wise it's more fun then Valkria Chronciles... you pop and shoot and use cover more.  It has destructable terrain as well that can be used to your advatnage. 

Though VC blows it away story wise.

Fuck Pokemon. I'm tired of catching new ones. I'm a Pokemon master so Nintendo, Game Freak, and the Pokemon Company can blow it out their asses. I'm not catching a chandelier Pokemon just because they have a five year old designing Pokemon now.
