At today's Nintendo conference Nintendo confirmed that their will be virtual console support on the 3DS. Infact GameBoy and GameBoy colour titles will be availible at launch. A mario title was shown on the 3DS. Of course I'm sure GBA and other handheld console titles will probubly become availible shortly. I bet GameGear, NeoGeo and WonderSwan are all possible. Can't wait to download some of my favorite classics!

Dude people want threads on individual news stories and events. A single thread means you need to scroll through page after page to get the news you want to hear about. If I didn't create the threads someone else would, because lets face it people want to know about this stuff.

Yep.  So far only GB and GBC games are confirmed, the only specific titles being Super Mario Land and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX.

I hope Capcom's on board, I needs me some Gargoyle's Quest...

The Gameboy virtual console itself was expected/known about. What surprised me is that at least some games are being changed to having some 3D effects.
