I checked at the retailers who were supposed to get Wii's today and all immediately sold out, 1 taget sold 97, another 72, TRU 55, another TRU 26, Kmart 6, Sears 10, Best Buy 48, Best Buy 76, Circuit City 54. Crazy.

However, Walmart got none. And I confirmed they are getting not one, but TWO shipments this week. The clerk knows me and swore me to secrecy, however, I will tell you they are coming AFTER Monday, and BEFORE Friday.

The store who has been selling the most Nunchucks, Wii-Motes, Classic Controllers, Galaxy, Mario & Sonic (odd because it's Sega, but Ninty must want to make sure Mario is flying out the door) are getting the most. So if your local Wally World has tons of accessories in stock, you aren't gonna see mant come in. I asked about the DS sales relating to quantity and was told that it was those 5 things that were determining the amount allocated.

I have had a Wii since late spring/early summer, but have been designated Wii Shopper Helper by all my not so lucky friends.

nice totals, and ya Walmart is the only Major retailer I know of that is not getting them today. They do have a weekly circular so it did not matter if they had them in today.

I wonder what the quantities will be like? The shipments being sold today were all over the place in quantity, from 6 to 150.

I think Walmart will probably get pretty good size shipments.

We got a Shipment in at Target (where I work). We got 71, all gone within an hour. And we get to do that 2 more times? Sweet!

No, Target's done. Target, TRU, K-mart, some Sears, Best Buy & Circuit City got and sold the preChristmas shipment Wii's out today. Only Wal-mart remains. They did not get any today, instead of one big shipment today they are getting two smaller ones during the week this week.

After that, the best chance seemsd to buy a voucher at Gamestop next weekend, but even those are limited per store. One GS manager I spoke to expects only 10 - 25 vouchers.

Best Buy get one more... at least that is what i gathered from the big Reggie interview.

idk bout american but here in britian there seem to be a shipment to my local games shop had a delivey and they sold 20 in about 3 hours

i was so right in the other thread about nintendo saying DS sales affecting allocation of wii shipment "only makes sense if there is a big stockpile"! *pats self on back*

no more shipments until x'mas for most stores, huh... well no > 1 million/week figures.

So if Walmart is getting far more Wii's than anyone else and Walmart is the one store that doesn't give data to anyone we can expect some undertracking this week?

or maybe they will over compensate for this...
