Well, on the other side, a friends brother who is an engneer went to our school to talk about his job and tell us things about it so we could decide what we would study in the future. Our friend told us: My brother is going to talk some fun things.

The first thing he did was write on the board what were the best payed careers and in which universities, he said things like:

- Teachers say they love their work but they work as that because they arent smart enough to be doctors or lawyers(in front of the teacher who was really mad)

- If work was fun it wouldnt be called work, it would be vacation

- He only chose his carrer because he could get a lot of money, and when the teacher said she did it because she wanted kids to learn, he said his motivation was getting up in the morning and having a good car.

That was epic trolling

Was his face something like this:

What you should do right now depends on your economic situation. I study mechanical engineering and I hate it, but I don't have any other option. Going to a good university is very difficult over here and I am poor, quitting would be suicide. If you don't have a problem with money, go for whatever you want, otherwise I don't recommend to do anything crazy in a world like this.

I am really sick of it.I am in second year of my degree and i hate everything about it.I just don't feel like touching my books.Even if i do,i keep thinking about games, movies, girls, etc

on top of that my subjects are shitty, economics, accounts, etc.

i am thinking of quiting and learn animation and coding so that i can make games and anime's.

I have just finished my degree of telecommunication engineering and all I can say is that it was difficult as hell. However, difficult dos not mean boring and when you pass the exams you feel a deep emotion of satisfaction. Doing exercises about Fourier and LaPlace transforms wasn't hard to strat with, it was hard to solve it. On the other hand, law is difficult to start with but not so hard to learn it once you have already begun your learning activity.

I say finish. People are lucky to have jobs now and thats the most important thing. Even if you don't like it, just finish. Get a safe job, then do whatever the fuck you want. It will be worth it.

If he hates it he won't be able to do his job right, and if he doesn't do his job right no one will hire him. You need certain skills to be succesful in business. It's also a very competitive field, so motivation is key, and he's not motivated because he hates it, and doesn't view it as something important and meaningful for his life.

I don't exactly love computer science but i do it anyways. A job isn't always about fun its about the money, and what you earn. I get that he hates it, but hes like halfway through. Might as well finish.

then dont

It's not about a job being "fun", bot for it being meaningful to the person doing it. No job is "fun", because you have to work and obtain certain results. Liking your job depends on whether or not you find what you're doing to be meaningful and important to you.

If day after day you arrive at work and stare at the clock wishing it were quitting time already, and you honestly don't give really a rats ass whether or not X project is succesful or not as long as you get your paycheck, then you're working in the wrong field.

You're mistaken, as he's not really upset because it's difficult, he's upset because he simply isn't interested in his major, and that's why he finds it boring. Most majors are difficult, however if you're genuenly intersted in said field, you'll manage to pull through.

Wow, what a douche, if he didn't have any teachers then this guy would never have made it to university.

I studied film and I work in Sony's BR/DVD mastering department. Its epically awesome. If I'd done the safe option I wouldn't be doing something thats awesome.

Wow, that sounds really cool.
