Sounds pretty stupid for all the reasons already stated. This would also be like saying, "If you want the PS3 version of Tales of Graces, buy it on the Wii first." Namco would never demand that people jump through such hoops.

I loved Tales of Vesperia! One of my fave RPGS! ;_;

Is it really that bad? This is the only Tales game I have played, are there any you would suggest to me as you seem to know your stuff!

Namco suck imo.
Why the hell did they published game like Enslaved & Splatterhouse which sell like crap instead of the Tales series which would have done much better.

As for the reasoning it does seem a little quirky, but I guess we'll just wait and see what happens.  I mean I don't understand why not just release it on both, but maybe there are other factors at play we don't know about.  I mean development costs aren't the only thing people.  Lots more costs involved when releasing a title and obviously there are other factors that may be influencing their decision if it turns out true.  

This is ironic. The PS3 version is better, but even if you bought it there, you wouldn't play it.

No it's not bad...the article writer just has a weird opinion.

Play Symphonia and Abyss btw.

Vesperia overshadows both by a whole real lot.

OK, that doesn't mean he shouldn't play either since he already played ToV...

You are right. I misread your post by thinking that you somewhat supported the author by suggesting other games in the series.
