Wow. Honestly, I may dislike the Kinect, but its performance in Japan simply amazes me.
It could even end up as 360's best selling Japanese game at this rate!

Both, but comparing HW to SW sales it seems the majority of Kinect sales (maybe all) are to existing owners. The HW is exactly as it was before Kinect launch. So, you're probably right.
Unless we see HW increasing - which would show word of mouth at work as existing owners talk others into buying a 360 to get Kinect - it seems safe to assume that Kinect is selling to a sub-set of the existing install base.
So I'm guessing it will hit a wall but at the current rate of sale that'll take quite a while anyway.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

(for hardware sales) Forfeit is control over others avatar for 1 week.
To really see what kind of growth we'll see, Kinect has to start moving hardware. Otherwise, it'll hit a big wall very soon.
