Meh, just slam in the Three Laws and stockpile a few EMPs just to be on the safe side.

That'll keep us safe for long enough to assemble humanity's finest and flee to the moon, where we'll be safe until they develop space travel.

Unfortunately they will no doubt also have flame throwers and big fuel packs on their back that glow red, and make the robots out of material that melts at very low tempatures., so that a loan soldier with an iron will can defeat entire armies out of them. Also they drop ammo.

Don't worry, The X-men will save us from the robot invasion, i heard a few years back the pentagon was working on rapid cellular regeneration, I also heard that they were working on some type of DNA thingy that they would inject into soldiers and would basicaly turn them into Master Chief (that's actualy from 2010). I'm pretty sure they've experimented on humans by now, i'm also pretty sure a few Wolverine's and other super mutants have escaped from the labs and are living among us in secret. 

I for one welcome our new Robot overlords...

This isn't new a few years ago I watched on the Military Channel that the US military used a robot to enter into caves in Afghanistan. The robot was cheaply made and carried a bomb if their were hostiles in the cave they would drive it right up to them and detonate. They also had one that would drop a bomb before being driven out.

The Police Bomb Squads have been using robots like this for almost a decade actually I think its been a decade. Also their are robotic drones like the Preditor and the F-35 can be piloted electronically as well. Ground troops will probubly start using these robots on the ground any time now.

Robots would be really valuable in Afghanistan especially when entering a house that you suspect has Taliban in it. Just drive this thing in check out the house and move the troops in safely behind it. Also I know that Canada has been working on robotic suites for soldiers to wear that would inhanse their abilities like an Iron Man suit for example.

Wars in the future will be fought with robots and robotic technology on the US said and the enemies will loose hundreds of thousands of men to them.
