It's Jessie who starts to doubt their actions.   It is never mentioned that they might have killed thousands of people though.

Yeah, I knew.  Like somebody else pointed out, it was mentioned several times throughout the game.  Even Cait Sith said something along the lines of "What do you THINK happened when you blew up that reactor?" when talking about how AVALANCHE killed a lot of people.

I don't know about you, but it sure doesn't look certain that they really killed people in the process now does it.

Actually, in FF7 you're not a terrorist. You start as a Mercenary (Cloud). Also, Cloud never joins the resistance with Barret. Their group joins Cloud (outside of Midgar), and it isn't about the resistance anymore. It's alternative motives like Sephiroth, etc.. I am just saying, you really aren't anything like a terrorist at any time in the game. And don't say mercenaries are terrorists, cause they aren't. Otherwise we, the US (and every other innocent country) are also huge terrorists. If you want to play that way, fine..

So yea, what game have you been playing sir? If anyone is the terrorist, it's the Shinra on their own State. Collapsing a whole sector.

Yup, true. Avalanche is a group of resistance fighters, or you can name them terrorists. But Cloud, the main hero never joins. Even said he won't join their stupid cause. Cloud fights for money and later goes on a quest for Aeris, nothing more. They end up following his (Cloud) lead. Cloud was a mercenary at best.

It is either from the forthcoming remake of FF9 and was leaked to me by my super secret Square-Enix insider, or it is a fan-made skin for the Sims. I forget which.

This seems to be the thing I remembered... The Cait Sith thing he said about it, I believe was the thing that struck that magical final fantasy chord in my heart :P.
I just google searched that article not sure how accurate it was, but I remember what you said being broughten up... quite subtlely in the game, by a few characters.

I enjoyed that.
