Shelby violently smothers his mother right after Madison left
- “Ethan’s Blackouts”
It is shown what Ethan sees during his blackouts (and it is explained why). His house fills with water, then you swim through a flooded nightmare version of his house until the player finds the body of one of the Origami victims (I think this boy is seen in the game’s credits-intro?). While he is in the park the blackout begins with the park/town being flooded by a tsunami.
- “Shaun goes to school”
Ethan brings Shaun to the school (before the Father&Son chapter) and finds the letter of the origami killer
only in artwork:
- “Madison Paige”
Madison would have repeatedly visited her office building (to research suspects, talk to her boss etc.) and her apartment was still to be decorated and the player would have painted walls to personalize it etc.
Also, it is revealed that her insomnia results from her time as a war correspondent during the Iraq war.
