4GB bundle out of stock at Target.Com

250GB bundle out of stock at ToysRus.Com, Target.Com

Also yesterday Costco and BestBuy in Orland Park, IL were sold out of sensors.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Obviously a marketing move. It's been sold out what, twice now and restocked once? Wait 'til another restock and then sell out, and try to imagine who is being used here.

Thanks Icyedge. I was in Best buy the other day picking up a new phone and got a chance to mess around with it, (the raft game). This best buy had plenty of the standalones in stock and of course the bundles. If the shipments were small then 250K does make more sense then 800K to 1 mil. Maybe will get some numbers from MS or one of the retailers about shipment numbers next week.

It will surely be more then 250K as this was pre-orders only. Its just that we cannot predict 800K based on sell outs. It might do it though. Personally, I say around 500K.

That is amazing. Kinect sales have actually been increasing everyday since it has come out at Amazon, not decreasing. Looks like word of mouth is really helping Kinect sales out and speaks to Kinect having very long legs.
