This game good? What other game is it comparable to?

Had this for the Xbox, i'd put it in my top ten list of last gen, will definitely get this remake.

Best news of the month!  And worth the double dip for me if only because I no longer have an Xbox and its not BC, which makes my copy useless.

Darndest thing.  I tried to play Beyond Good and Evil on my Wii about a week ago (didn't really want to.  I wanted to play Halo Reach but you know....kids).  First time I took a picture with the camera, the game froze.  I reset and played it again and the game died as soon as Jade and Pey'j finished fighting that first boss that called me Shani.  I inspected the disc and it was flawless.  I don't know if my Wii was having problems or if their's a compatiblity issue with the Gamecube disc.  I didn't want to play BG&E but knowing that it doesn't work is bothering me! 

Long story short, looks like I'll be downloading it when it releases.

I'll probabily pick it up when it out, any word on a release date. i think it didnt do that well is the cartoony look of it, however apperances are deceptive and the photo - realistic looking sequel seems like it could reach a much wider audience that probabily over looked the 1st one.

Great.  I really hope the re-release goes well.  The game was so good and their clearly remains a lot to learn about Jade and the world she inhabits.

Meh. It's good that the game gets a second chance, but I'd much, much, MUCH rather have the sequel than the exact same game I already have.

Pretty sure I was promised a sequel, Ubisoft.

About damn Time Ubisoft.  Make sure you follow it up closely with BGE2!  Will definitely buy this one (to go with my PS2, Xbox and PC copy)
