Even using the term "denier" demonstrates a massive bias on this topic. Almost no one denies that the climate is changing, and one of the core components of the criticism of the man-made dangerous global warming hypothesis is that the climate has been rapidly changing consistently for millions of years. What people doubt is the level of influence man is having on these changes, whether we can actually impact the rate of change (whether to reduce it or increase it), and whether making people like Al Gore, David Suzuki and Goldman Sachs billions of dollars (along with transferring wealth to third world countries) has anything to do with the climate.

To be against the burning of fossil fuels AND nuclear energy is cork-on-the-fork stupid. Renewable energy is generations away from being anywhere close to the point of supporting mankind (at its current population and demand). What do you suggest mankind do in the meantime, return to caves?

That's the problem with radical liberalism like this. It's this unreasonable kind of thinking that stops real progress from being made. Instead of drastically cutting back on fossil fuels by working hard on modern nuclear power, we get rantings from the left saying we shouldn't invest in anything except "green" power. And, in the meantime, we keep burning fossil fuels like fucking crazy and perpetuating all the problems that come along with dirty fuel instead of creating an intelligent framework for bridging the gap between fossil fuel consumption and sustainable green energy.

Climate changes even without people throwing out those green house gases so doh. But What I would like to see change more and more is stop the massive pollution gases that make everyone sick. If that is accomplished and green house gases production is reduced at the same time = yuuhuu, save the polar Bears (and even if not, do save the polar bears).

So believers of man made global warming must watch MSNBC. Man made global warming is  a huge cash cow for Al Gore and and carbon footprint offset sales.  

As for the bible Revelation 11:18 mentions God will bring to ruin those ruining the earth.  So some might interpret the deniers as you call them,  will get it in the end. 

No guarantee that the alternative tech will magically show up and be viable in time.  Beyond this, is that, what I do know is, since the end of the Cold War, there has been a void for something people to live in terror of.  We used to have nasty Commies who wanted to enslave you, and the risk of nuclear winter.  It took less than a decade for the terror to shift to a fear of militant extremists Muslims (one dirty bomb on main street means ALL OVER FOR AMERICA), and then global warming/climate change/American lifestyle is eeeevvvvvvillllll! 

This last paragraph summary shows a state of fear that came out after the cold war by those on the left.  Why should someone support climate change?  Isn't it evil?  Also, if energy is that much of a problem, you consider nuclear and figure out how to make the waste not a problem.  Nuclear waste is NOT catstrophic for crying out loud.  It is a problem you deal with.

Bigger problems faced is dealing with China and India that are heading for middle class lifestyles.  HUGE demands, and if you don't get them to contain their carbon dumping, it doesn't matter what is done in Europe or North America.  China and India are over 2 billion people.  You need to meet their energy needs, and yes, we try to get it done green.

By the way, I almost never watch Fox News.  I think it is a waste of time, and I think they have an agenda.  But, if you can tell by my post, I think the climate change scare is blown WAY out of proportion, and doesn't lend to come up with a reasonable solution that is doable.

I'm not quite sure about what's true anymore... But in any case, I guess all that's said to be the cause of global warming is actually happening and contributing to climate. I'm sure that however small or big the effect may be, we should still be careful about it.

I don't think there's any doubt the climate is changing, whether that's a natural occurrence or accelerated by man is up for debate. 

Those who believe mankind is the main cause of climate change can afford to be wrong, the sceptics cant.

Every person can make a small contribution and help save the planet from destruction. Climate change has been sped up over the last 30 years due to the growth in population and the rapid industrialisation of the Asian region. Average temperatures are rising every year around the world, the polar regions are melting and more frequent natural disasters.

China and India remain third world countries and they are rapidly becoming more industrialised and building bigger cities. India remains a developing third world county and it looks like a slum with lots of people living in squalid. Middle class is rising living in city apartments and growth of factories and rapid industrialisation: both China and India are ddeveloping nations. Increased industrialisation and producing bigger cities and goods for the rest of the world means more pollution and carbon emissions. The impact on the environment will

Carbon taxes need to be introduced in every country. Alternative energy sources to be used instead of relying heavily on fossil fuels: oil and gasoline. Increase carbon tax should help investment into research and development of alternative energy sources. If it means higher oil prices and higher electric bills then that is a the price we must all pay to help save the planet from extinction.
