Well after Microsoft themselves they have sold some 500 000 X360 in France until now .The sales for the Wii would be 1.1 million and for the PS3 some 270K .This links to the info :

This compares to vgchartz quite favourably as the numbers arent far off .Still the X360 and the Wii have more than a 10% of overtracking in Vgchartz and the PS3 a slight one as well (15K units ) .I wonder if Ioi will change the data accordingly or if he will just feel "comfortable " with the current sales estimations on the webpage .

As for the news the important thing is the X360 data ,the Wii and PS3 data are just estimations from what I understand from that and its not clear if its MS themselves who gave the data or is the webpage and its source who have rounded up the numbers for the PS3 and Wii just to compare .

It doesnt explain either if its shipped or sold .If its shipped the actual number could be way lower .But I think its sold to customers .

Well, it is not clear what the source for these numbers is, just as it is unclear from which date the numbers are. This sites Wii and PS3 numbers are completely in line with this article if we use last weeks (ending November 25) though, only Xbox 360 numbers would be a bit overtracked. Still not by a huge percentage though. Anyway, I don't think ioi will see any reason to make adjustments based on this article.

Btw, I did find an article on Les Echos website mentioning the 500k number for Xbox 360, however the article doesn't mention sales of the other consoles.

The article of Les Echos actually quotes Francois Ruault ,director of Microsoft France .So it isnt as if Les Echos actually invented the numbers .

Yes ,it seems the Wii and PS3 numbers are roundings of Jeuxfrance to compare to the 500K X360 sold .Thats why I said the reliable info here is only for the X360 .Its about 11% overtracked in France ,and that if Francois Ruault wasnt actually speaking about shipped numbers .

Kyrby (and everybody ) you just have to understand that Microsoft ,Sony and Nintendo are clients of the likes of NPD ,GFk ,Gamecharts and Media Create ...they have the best info available along their own internal data .
