I was just wondering how many/ which members of VGChartz are employed by  game developers/ creators/ publishers.

How may of you are analysts?

which of you have actual stock in the companies that we talk about every day.

It occured to me that I am extremely passionate about video games... I love them and enjoy them greatly, as we all do. But it seems like alot of you are soooooo much more hardcore than I am, which made me wonder... who's who?

Is there common knowledge around here that certain posters work for insomniac or bethesda? If so, who?

Are there certain posters who edit Michael Pachters work, or have actually met Ted Price or Gabe Newell?

I want to know these things, and I understand it may be a conflict of interest for some people to admit that they do infact actually work for Microsoft, Nintendo, or Sony, (which in some cases would explain an awful lot), but the question remains.

You probably meant more from a developers standpoint, and to my knowledge their are none on this site, of course they might all be in hiding.

I thought twestern was a developer?

I help keep the industry alive.. Does that count?

If I'm not mistaken, Twestern is a level designer at Terminal Reality, the company that did Ghostbusters.

There is also a member named Shams who developed a WiiWare game called FlowerWorks.

I'm pretty sure Bardicverse was a developer.  I don't remember what exactly, and we can't ask because he asked to be permabanned.

i used to work in a department of shipment reports of the Sony Ericsson phones, what is ironic is that i never owned a Sony Ericsson phone.

and it was the easiest and lamest job ever, basically i just deliver the shipments reports from the stores to Sony, it was so lame that i had to work on a second job to have enough for college. -_-; .... and to get a PS3 (ken Keturagi was right! =o )
