Honestly, if I were Sony, Jailbreak would be my own invention made by a faceless company. Sell a lot more ps3s, Make a 150$ (which is what Sony would get if someone bought 10-12 games), block psnIDs so people need to still actually buy regular games etc.

A little birdie told me this: it likes Spain so they get it for 99 euro's... they hate the dutch so they get it for 130 euros.. just like the french.. in China there will be a lot of competition so it will sell for 80 euros..

the birdie said buying bulk helps.. 88 dollars (yes dollars) when you buy at least 250 of them.. clones are coming in for 77 dollars without bulk discount.. when more clones are released expect the price to drop further.. cause the birdie told me it's everybody is taking large margins... >_>

I think a PSP hack wouldnt be as bad as people think for te PS3... the PSP to PSN access didn't exist. I believe you can't access the PSN from a hacked PSP, and would you want to as code could easily get your account details i'd think.

I feel sorry for Sony however, They hold out for 3 years then they get a hack which doesn't even require any modifications atall. If it had atlest been something like the xbox alot of people wouldn't have wanted to open up a PS3.

I want to knowhowever it this allows for linux to be compeltely installed on the PS3... if so i'd be tempted I need a new computer and a PS3 slim would be crazy nice to have with those spus

This is going to be worse than even the 360's pirating rate.  It seems like it will be so simple to do anyone with half a brain can do it.  And there is no need to actually open up the console to do it so you possibly can get by without even voiding warranty. (which is a big concern for a lot of people).
