I'm looking for recommendations on what my next PS3 game purchase will be.  I have done this before (for my Wii), but what I'd really like is for you to tell me what you like most about the game you choose to reccomend.  Based upon peoples perceptions of "fun" in the game they choose, I'll hopefully find something that I think would be great as well.

I have these games for my PS3 (in order of how I enjoyed them):

1. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
2. Valkyria Chronicles
3. Uncharted 2
4. Killzone 2
5. Resistance: Fall of Man
6. God of War 3

The game doesn't have to be recent, but I do want a recommendation for a game that is already released please.  I have some multiplats on my 360, but no need to list those out here.  I'll be leaving for lunch soon, but will be back to see if I've gotten any recommendations in a bit.  Thanks in advance!

Easy-- Uncharted series.  Both great games.

I got bored with VC (I hate long tutorials and complicated controls/menus), Killzone 2 was bad, and Resistance was run-of-the-mill nothing special.  I haven't played God of War 3, but I assume if you like God of War 2 and God of War you'll like God of War 3.

You want a challenge?  Play Demon's  Souls.  Its difficulty level is that of the older school games of the NES and SNES days.

infamous: you must try it out. this game is lots of fun, its one of the few games on the ps3 which has incredible gameplay, intense fun, and an amazing story.

metal gear solid 4: even though darth hates it, its a great game.

lbp: a nice platforerm, once you get addicted youl never leave it. you dont have to be creative, you can just play the levels.

heavy rain: although i hated it, its a good game, gameplay is intense, not that fun but the story will keep you moving on. i stopped because the game was so sad.

mag: its not the best shooter out their, theirs no campaign, but i never played an online game that is so much fun, it really incorporates team play, and strategy.

ratchet and clank: a crack in time, and tools of destruction: great platformers, and great shooters, they have a good story, also they have lots of replay value, since in your 2nd playthrough you get a new set of weapons. the open world aspect adds to the game a sense of adventure, and in both games their are arenas which always are a challenge. 

if i was you, out of my list i would get, infamous, mgs4, and ratchet and clank: a crack in time, for their great stories, and sheer intense fun.

edit: and if you want to cry and feel like a bitch play demon souls. i havent touched it since i beat the 1st boss, im scared :(. unless someone comes and gives me all of their best weapons and armor i wont be able to enjoy the game anymore. help me please :(

Demons Souls

Fun, challenging and now cheap to buy.

Go buy Infamous, it's not my favourite game on the system, but it's the one I've played for the longest (4 play through's). It's just a really fun game, probably the best sandbox game I've ever played.

R&C:Crack in Time - a LOT of fun

If Uncharted is your favorite PS3 game it's simple, buy Uncharted 2!

I'll sell you my finished Batman AA and/or Assassin's Creed. I finished both and really liked both.

Both are in perfect condition with all case/manuals etc and I can put them as a package deal to buy it now on Ebay for .... $50 with free shipping.

Amazon is selling these for $20 AC and $46 Batman, so its an almost $20 savings for basically new games.

I would recommend inFamous, its a fantastic game. Open world, fun gameplay and a brilliant story

Also, I would second recomendations for the Assassin's Creed games (particularly 2) and Batman AA
