Do japanes rpgs do better in Europe then in NA??

Will this help not only Japan sales, but European numbers as well?

Any word on summons yet? Im assuming not. Either way game looks great. Has a very "legend of dragoon" atmosphere going for it, imo at least.

Awesome. I can speak no more.

Hopefully this is what the 360 ordered for Japan at least.

The 360 ordered? The 360 ordered this game...I think you meant

"Hopefully this is what the Xbox 360 users are ordering over in Japan.

Check your "grammer", it's spelled "grammar".

the gameplay still doesn't impress me, but the graphics and voice-acting are excellent.

I always chuckle when I see ppl do that haha

About the circle and the "bad" appearing on screen:

It's an active-time attack system. When your character is initating an attack on an enemy, you have to press a given button (not sure which, probably A) at a certain time to get extra damage on each attack. Each attack is rated under different scores - bad, fair, good, excellent, and perfect (or such). A decent way to spice up typical menu-based attacking.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Also, about RPGs in Europe:

For the "most part", Westernized RPGs tend to do very well there. Final Fantasy has always done very similar numbers vs. the US on them. If the US version of Lost Odyssey does well, we can expect a very similar attach rate. The only issue is if it moves systems or not.

A good comparison would be Mass Effect. It opened up with very similar sales for the hardware platforms in both the US and Europe.

It really looks like a polished game. I also hope it sells well (Mistwalker deserve some money and attention). All that said, the gameplay brings back a lot of unpleasant memories about FF.
