I've recently gotten back into drawing chibi's and I've realised... that I'm not very good XD. During my school years I would spend time in class drawing chibi comics with my friend... one of the main reasons why I failed most of my subjects (never art or drama; which I normally got A's in XD). 

So anyway, I'm creating this thread in the hope that some of you have some experience in drawing chibi's and can help me get better. You can post in a picture of what you've drawn or just criticise the f*ck out of what I've done :D . 

Here's what I just did for fun .... 

I'm pro at this

1.  Make a good anime* drawing

2. Increase the size of the head or decrease the size of the body or do both

3. Put some happy expression on the face

4. $$$$$

* Good anime being relative here, there really isn't such thing since they all look the same and are pretty generic and stupid.  If you really wanted to be any kind of artist, stop drawing anime.

I just draw chibi's for fun. XD It's great entertainment. However the art that I really love to do, I've created my own art style for. 

I'd post them on here, but I don't want to seem egotistical, throwing my art pieces in peoples faces :P. 

Is it common for chibis to have no legs? What about the messed up hands? Is that a pedobear? Are hearts flying because they're filled with air? Or they're just immune to gravity?

It's not egotistical to post your art, just don't feel bad and get defensive when people critique it.  Just take it with a grin and a smile and even pay attention to it if you want to get better.  :-p

Hmmm, okay... well this can turn into a 'help me get better at art thread' then XD.

Lol! XD I didn't feel like drawing legs... hands are a bitch to draw... it might be pedobear (who knows) ... and those hearts are filled with helium :D. 

Make the character smaller and a bit simpler.
