I hope the "revelation" is, like you said, a World-Wide simultaneous release date :D Or at least, a release date xD. I think the game will be released like 3-6 months after Final Fantasy XIV's release date... but I hope it's earlier. Late 2010 would be awesome :D but almost imposible :S So I'd say early 2011 (I hope ^_^).

Lol, I doubt this "revelation" could be something like Celine Dion performing the title track xD That's not even an importan thing to "reveal" to the audience.

Besides, I think most of the songs in Final Fantasy Versus XIII are in Latin, so all the tracks should be the same for both Japan and the rest of the world (because the songs won't be in Japanese, so no need to "westernize" anything :P).

JDevil3 - sadly my friend, i think SE might make us wait for this one. i've only just heard that the script has been completed. so i think we might get an early to mid 2011 release - hopefully world-wide. that was the plan Kitase intended for FF13, and a lot of publishers are doing this now.

oh yeah when you said all the soundtracks in Versus will be in Latin, you just made me think we could be getting a track in the same style as 'one winged angel' - we can dream right, although i doubt it will happen.

yeah, hopefully no unecessary pop stars in this one.

like i said when i mentioned the script has only just been completed, i'm worried that we're still a long way from it going gold and we'll just get a trailer showing the never seen before battle system. and imo thats not enough, at least even if we get a Japan release date, we know the other territories arnt far behind.

I've just read that Final Fantasy XIV PS3 version will be delayed for March 2011... So yes, Final Fantasy Versus XIII definetely won't be released before or in the same month as Final Fantasy XIV... It'll most probably be released like 3-6 months AFTER Final Fantasy XIV >_>. So we'll have to wait for a loooooooooooong time :S At least 1 more year from now :S

Maybe we'll have something better than One Winged Angel :P who knows? :P Yoko Shimomura is good... not as good as Nobuo Uematsu, though. :P

The script being completed recently doesn't mean that they still haven't even started doing the cutscenes and voce acting and stuff like that... they could've already made the cutscenes and voice acting for the parts of the script that were already completed and now they just have to start doing those that they've finished recenlty! Besides they've also said that the locations in the map were all already finished, they just have to link them all toghether or something like that... so I guess the game is almost finished :P It's just that they'll have to wait some time after XIV's release in order not to kill the sales for that one >_> They should relase it BEFORE XIV and delay XIV even more :P lol, just kidding xD

I don't know why :P But I think Square-Enix wanted to release XIV before Versus XIII :S So they'll have to wait some months after XIV's release to release Final Fantasy Versus XIII, otherwise Versus XIII will eat sales from XIV :P

Really FF14s been delayed until March 2011....

i'm hoping thats not too important because they're made by different teams. but fingers crossed this wont affect the release too much.
