Forums - Sony Discussion - official: DR. Marks confirms Playstation move hardware is done.video

I think the Playstation Move is looking to be even more of a great product after these new demo's

I thought the marble modeling was pretty cool.

NICE!

still not getting it, already have my wii for that

The tech demos for Move impress me, but I want to see the software.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Im not big into motion controls so im still on the fence about move. I may try it if they get the right software. and SOCOM 4 isnt enough for me to purchase move. but hopefully they can come up with something the wii hasnt.

to me those tech demo's are a taste of what can be done, because those tech demo's are not just tech demo's , their code go's into the Playstation Move SDK! which is very important.

that's also the point SCEE DR. Marks stated that the software is alway's being the Last to be done..lol

we still have some time before the Move get's released but since the Hardware is finalized already that mean's the developer's know exactly the spec's that the Move will end up with. This bode's very well for end software with many demo's being only 20% done at the time of their showing there is plenty of time now to finish the software before release, atleast the developer's know now the full spec's of the Playstation Move.

the EYEPET with what has already been shown to already work with the Playstation Move is a fantastic example of a great software product that uses The Playstation Move very well.

it's much more natural than when the card was used instead of the Move.

cant wait for under siege. to me the move controller looks perfect for rts games. only problem i have with the design is the analogue stick and d-pad are on the nav. to fully interact with a fps or rpg, or any first person game you will need two move controllers. with a d-pad or analogue stick your going to have the same problems moving as natal. unless you go the heavy rain way and use the trigger to move forward and steer by pointing. which will be confusing because to grasp something with you hand as shown with the exoskeleton demo, you need to use the trigger button to control how far you close your hand.

correct me if I am wrong
stop me if I am bias
I love a good civilised debate (but only if we can learn something).

while yes i agree it would take two move controller's to pull off some of the software, With what I have seen that you are able to do with 2 of the Move motion controller's it does in my opinion give's the end result's of game's a very good end user experience.

that without that precision you could not pull off a great RTS motion controlled game without that capability in your motion control's.

Not saying that you could not do it, i just feel that it would not be as good of an end user experience without such precise motion control's if your going to make an RTS game to use Motion control's I think this Hold's the Best end user experience apart from the other's.
