Forums - Sony Discussion - MAG Interdiction mode coming soon!

1. How likely would you be to purchase a sequel to MAG?

2. Please read the following description of new downloadable content for MAG:

The Interdiction Pack
Engage the enemy on neutral battlefields, fighting to seize control of command posts. The all-new Interdiction missions feature two convoys, 128 players, 3 primary objectives, and no defender…both forces assume the role of attacker.

If this downloadable content were available in MAG now for $8.99, how likely would you be to purchase this downloadable content?

3. Subscription Product

A product is being considered where, for a fee of $.99/month, you can have an extra MAG character slot.

If this product were available now, how likely would you be to subscribe?

All of this was in my email that was asked by Zipper for a survey

Would you pay?

Around the Network

1. I would but reluctantly.
2. 100% day one.
3. Not enough incentive.
Get back to work on my new maps slav... I mean, Zipper.

Seems that the survey is real.

1-I only rented MAG, but I'd keep my eye on a sequel if they can fix the issues of the first game.

2- The content sounds cool, but I think it would also be cool to also have switched roles on the current maps. Say the situation on Raven's sabotage map is that Raven lost the uplink to SVER/Valor and are sending in a force to take it back making them the attackers.

Since I don't actually own MAG nor have I been that interested in paying for DLC for games, I wouldn't want to pay $8.99 for it.

3- A subscription for $.99 per month? If I owned the game, I suppose $1 doesn't sound that bad as long as it stays at that price. However, I'd expect to see plenty of updates and more additions like the flashbang. Though like with paid DLC, I'm not a big fan of it. They should also be offering the extra character slot without paying because honestly, the only reason I put the hardcore time to get to level 60 was because I rented it during the double XP weekend and I don't want to have to lose all that progress just to play in another faction.

awww i have to pay for a new mode???
its okay since i love MAG but i wish i didn't have to pay....
i would definitely pay for new maps though.

I love MAG, so...

1. If it looked significantly better than the first, with some really good improvements, then I may get the sequel (but only after a while, at least a year since the first one released)

2. Definitely get the DLC - day one purchase!

3. probably not pay for a subscription, I like to pay for things on one flat fee rather than have money coming out each month. Besides, I like my character, but once i get to level 60 i may change my mind on that...

This info didn't come from Zipper so it's fake.

We should get a new patch this month apparently through, with lot of changes and tweaks.

If you really want to know what's happening in MAG listen to the Zipline Podcasts at the MAG-blog.
