I have checked all first 15 weeks in 2010 here on VGChartz, not once did the PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV enter the top 30 in VGChartz' weekly charts in others, not for any of those weeks!

@ gurglesletch
It's ranked 28th in the chart above, overall for the first 15 weeks of 2010.
So a chart that is based on a projection by Nintendo that has GTA4 at #28 on their list suddenly means VGC is domed?
What makes that projection list correct?

Some of GfK's charts are publicly available (though not necessarily the numbers).
Has anyone looked at those?

1) It was a question
2) "based on data supplied by media control GfK International"
3) VGChartz does estimates based on partial GfK data being released.
Somewhat off topic, but I noticed while looking at the data. What happened to San Andreas in March? It sold 2,263 in February, then 44,245 in March.
There's no numbers on that chart, so how would you know? I do think it's undertracked but that's based on when Take 2 said the sales of the game were roughly 50/50 in Jan 2009 or about 6.5 million shipped for each console then.

Your next question comes from Edward Williams - BMO Capital Markets.

First of all, going back to JT's line of questioning, can you give us an idea as to this 13 million GTA 4 units, how many of those are Xbox 360 platform? So what's the addressable market for the downloadable The Lost and Damned.
Lainie Goldstein
It's approximately 50/50, Ed.
Edward Williams - BMO Capital Markets
And what about a geographic breakdown, U.S. versus international?
Lainie Goldstein
It's about 50/50 there as well.
Benjamin Feder
50/50 generally.
Lainie Goldstein
50/50 over both, right.
Can anyone compile a list of VGChartz' first 15 weeks of 2010, then we can do a full comparison.
I lack the time to do this, but it would be interesting to compare.
