I just want to know the opinion of VGchartz community. Please, stick with the main topic and dont bash other consoles.

Since Alan Wake is comming out very soon, and the graphics are looking very good, I just want to know if people in here really thinks this will be, at the time it gets released, the best console game graphics wise.

In summary, if reviews in general are gonna say "its the best looking game in consoles ever" or "its really impressive, but not the best overall".

Honest I think not. But If I wanted great graphics I would not be an console gamer.

Not even close, especially with such a long and rocky dev cycle. Only blind 360 fanboys will say otherwise, same guys who said conviction would, then on to the next game, lol.

Judging from the screenshots and the available trailers, no it doesn't. I could be wrong and so could everyone one else who answers you, no one knows until it releases.

You want some VG$ huh, new guy. Has there ever been a time in the history of video games that people could agree which game looked the best? When I was playing Gears of War, there were people (stupid people, of course) who thought Resident Evil 4 looked better. What looks good is subjective. Combine that with console bias, alcohol, and differing art styles, and what you get is......I'm estimating....211 posts of screen shots, bickering, and console bashing. And for what? To see which character has visible dirt in their fingernails?

What's more important is whether or not Alan Wake is going to be a good game for its audience. In that respect, I hope the answer is yes.

good graphics, but not even top 5 this gen.

It has a disadvantage in being free roaming, the large open world will tax the system a lot compared to more enclosed, fully scripted games like Gears of War 2 but I have no idea how Alan Wake will look on my TV when I've gotten it, I do think it'll be a truly impressive sight to behold though.
And if you're counting PC among best graphics overall, then no.

I went with yes because I'm super excited for this game and it looks BEAUTIFUL! But you can't really ask me, I think Mass Effect 2 is the best looking game this gen, and obviously I'm an idiot for not thinking it's one of the "real" best looking games: list, list, list. . . blah, blah. . .
