Forums - Sony Discussion - Crysis 2 Lead Writer Slams Killzone 2 Graphics

I don’t have a problem with the games this guy is criticizing, or the issues he may have with them, but I do find his approach to criticism to be rather pathetic; and I would say that it sounds like he is jealous of these game’s success. Very few high profile games are as good as they’re hyped to be, and in most cases the games that are heavily critically acclaimed for certain features (graphics, AI, story-telling, multiplayer, etc.) can often be much more disappointing than a more modest game because, while these features are well implemented, they fall far short of what they’re claimed to be.

waron the GOW fans will destroy you for saying that, lol, GOW III is amazing and I agree it does some very familiar things but, it looks totally awesome:):)
OT: I agree with the things they have said about MW2 and Halo, but seriously I will have to wait and see how it looks and performs on my PS3 before saying crysis 2 is better than Killzone 2, I am glad we have a proper multi-platform engine now:):)

that's why i sad that God of War 3 is great in art and level design but technically is below average.

You can't say a game is below average and not show any examples of anything better. Show me a game of a similar genre that look's better than God of War 3. I'd also like to add, you've been very annoying lately with your Sony bashing and I'm honestly surprised you haven't been banned yet. If you have such a grudge against a gaming console, I'd recommend not visiting any thread's even related to that certain console.

did you even read what i wrote? i already gave examples of simillar games/series that do the same thing. besides how come that most sony fans completely flip out when you say that some other game is more impressive or better at some aspects than ps3 exclusive games(and it's not to you).

Bladestorm - it was a small budget title which stand out very clearly(terrible game from artistic standpoint and really poor production value) but technically it's one impressive piece of software.

Heavenly Sword - sadly technical issues(loadings and framerate) hindered it down really hard.

and from upcoming games there are 2 clear examples of very technicaly impressive games

Crackdown 2 and especially Kingdom Under Fire 2 considering what we've seen and know so far.
