I took a look at bladestorm and it looks pretty cool. I've seen it in the cheap section at my local store too, I think I'll pick that and Strikeforce. 

I'd suggest Samurai Warriors 2: Empires, it's my favourite one in the Warriors series, and it'll be pretty cheap by now.

Well I think warriors orochi 1 and 2 are the best....

Hokuto Musou was different from others. more slowly comprared eith others. but realistic

DW Gundam 1 & 2... these really click with me for some reason!

IF you can find it, buy Sengoku Basara...Same deal but more fun imo

Dynasty Warriors were EPIC on Ps2..This lastest Dynasty Warriors seems interesting.Or DW6 Empires.

I always thought the most complete was the 3rd. The 5th one wasn't too bad either. I disliked the 6th because they took away Jiang Wei but still good. Complete garbage Koei, what were you thinking.

I would go with the 5th though.

Blade Storm isn't really hack and slash like the others at least from what the demo was like. It's more strategy with units than single dude fucking up everyone. It was like Kessen and RoTK but in Europe.

Thats not Dynasty Warriors really. DW2-6 all revolve around 1 guy/girl killing hundreds of enemies and changing the tide of battle while completing objectives.

Bladestorm you lead armys to do it for you, it's like the jrpg version of DW.

Strikeforce is a cheap cash in on the monster hunter franchise on PsP and just got ported to the Ps3.

IMO get DW4 or 3 are the best on Ps2, this gen get DW6

I disagree Empires is the way to go. FAR more fun, I mean the 2 best games in the series are 3 and 5 anyway. Sadly he isn't going for this gen.
