@nightsurge

I don't see it so black and white, sorry. Obliterate in sales? and you previously said the 360 was going to regain Europe? based on what? Natal? aren't you assuming a lot my friend? It seems to me you're the one praying for a company to outdo the other. I have no stock on either company I just call it as I see it, you're the one with the magic crystal ball.

Nope, I just see it far more likely to happen based on the past momentum shifts.  You on the other hand seem incapable of accepting that a 360 could ever make a sales move against the PS3.  This is where your arguments are flawed because history itself is against you.

I also don't think that Sony will price cut to match the 360.  They can't, really.  They are only just now breaking even on the PS3 hardware and this fall I'm sure they will want to bundle Move with every console as MS will want to bundle Natal.  The 360 Slim rumors are pretty much beyond deniability right now, so that combined with no price drop last year means MS is set to cut quite a large amount off of their current SKU's.  I still think a $199 Elite Slim with Natal is possible, but even at $250 that's a decent price cut and the PS3 will likely be $350 or higher with Move bundled.

And just based on even this early point of the year Natal has seen far more publicity and praise than Sony's move in all parts of the media (not just gaming media, either).  That combined with the console relaunch (as MS has said) will see crazy amounts of advertising and sales for the 360 this fall.

I still have no idea what you are talking about.  I'm not making radical claims without support.  I guess this is the response I should expect when you don't have any argument against what I said.  After all, I went into great detail explaining why I feel it is more likely and you didn't even comment on any of that.  Oh well.  I'll bookmark this thread and come back to it in a few months to see how my "ball reading and delusions..." went

$189 with a free additional controller option.

The current GameStop deal is excellent: Forza 3 and Halo ODST, Xbox Elite and a $50 certificate for $299?

I'd be all over that deal if I didn't already have an Xbox.

The deal is back at Amazon

yeah its back on
