Meh people will always complain about something. For me time has tought me that I need to wait and play for myself especially games from Nintendo. Never judge a game by it’s looks. Take Pikmin I was like no this looks weird but then I tried it and I love it as much as I love Zelda, Mario and Metroid.

The controls will be good this is after all Nintendo we are talking about.

I had a Nintengasm with this video!!! this is awesome!!

Its gameplay like this that the gaming industry could learn a thing or two of. Action games tend to be nothing but hack and slash these days but this being part of Metroid has more elements to it. Being able to play in 1st,3rd,sidescroll,& over the shoulder views alone show how well action games can be done if designed right.

Ahh and this game is a solid candidate for GOTY for me!

Quite possibly the best game for the Wii right here folks. I don't know about you other Metroid fans out there but I'm getting those intense anticipatory sensations again that I got back when metroid prime for GC was first demonstrated. Can't Wait!!

Based on the GDC description IGN posted, I was thinking this game was going to be Metroid in name only and going to suck. But it looks like this is actually in the Metroidvania genre and awesome.

BTW it's just me or Samus sound weird at the end ... like if Mother Brain was her mom.

She calls Mother Brain "Mother" in the manga for short, so it seems like it's just following the manga.
