The PS3 is up by around 20k+ this week in the America's. Which is the week after the major release of God of War III.

Week of God of War III release, PS3 fell into the 80k unit range.

Week after God of War III, PS3 increases 20k+.

I think this is proof that Sony IS struggling with demand.

Also the fact that ioi said they were last week. Seems like they're sorting it though and Sony still got a boost off of GoW3, I wonder if it'd have been bigger without constraints? I'd guess a big fat YES on that.

PS3 is failure. Sony should of never made it cost so much.

I hope Sony is sorting them out.

All three major markets are on high demand. The only clear short term solution is to halt PS2 production and shift those lines to PS3. That would increase PS3 output by at least another 100k per month.

lol....this has nothing to do with the conversation.

OT: Of course there were shortages, ioi made that clear last week. But besides that, it's apparent from most stores that I visit.


i know that it's been said, but that hasn't stopped people from around the site still saying that Sony is just making this up.
