It has nothing to do with slim, it's just a standard 360 drive that is available to buy on it's own to upgrade existing 360's.

It's called standalone because you can buy it on it's own (without the console), but yes it's just a standard 360 drive.

That's what I figured.  I wonder if the TC knows that there have been standalone HDDs available since the 360 launched?
