PS4 will definatlely have an exclusive true to the story MGS

Sqaure Enix will like to earn some fans back and come back with a strong showing.I think SQ likes the sales of previous FF's than FF13

and you really think Tekken will go multi-plat againa after bombing this age.Namco will also be looking to earn some fans back

GTA next will be an exclusive too as PS4 will sell well as it will be low priced

^Those are your dreams, not what will actually happen.

Sorry guys, This gen will be sticking around for a while longer, with all this new technology MS and Sony have brought to the table, They will want to make some money, Both MS and Sony could benifit from More sales and cash for next gen, it really will not get much better until Ultra HD comes anyway, then they will put money out there for a new console, this will happen amis to the end of 2013. Watch and see

Why do people want a FF7 remake so badly? It's kind of sad actually. If you want to play it that bad go play it on your PS1. There will not be a remake, at least on the PS3 and probably not next gen either.

Don't act as if you wouldn't buy an FF7 Remake if it was released and you liked FF7...you know damn well they would sell boat-loads on it and it doesn't even have to have every single building the same shape or size, it's about bringing the characters to life and not huge polygon shoulders, cut-scenes at every part of constant talking, HD to the maximum allowed by the medium and the given hardware...it would sell, and it would sell systems on whatever it's on.

Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...

Well okay I'm sure you realize by now I'm not a FF guy.

I guess thinking about it (depending on the price) I maybe would buy an HD remake of an old game. I was trying to think of games I liked and maybe if they re-did the Crash Bandicoot trilogy in HD I'd get it.

So I guess I do owe somewhat of an apology to people talking about a FF7 re-make. It is kind of sad how people have been begging for it for years though and speculating about it when there has been no word on it from Square Enix.

Ok Now that I know that there could be a next gen with

*Better Graphics and all that crap(what about gameplay...)

Do you think that sony's next gen plan is going to be to have FF7 at launch?

I mean wasnt there a thread for...Next gen Employment and guess whats the job ICON?CLOUD!!!

sorry if im a little off(Im sick)

Your premise is wrong, Square said they are recruiting to build a new engine. They used the term next gen (technically speaking) while talking about current gen. Meaning it would be an engine for Xbox and PS3, not for PSP, DS or Wii.

Check the official publicity by square (picture) in the previous link its written it is for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The particular game just has a pretty big following, and they figure that if they ask for it enough times and Square thinks they have the resources to deliver what the fan wants...they might do it.  It's not like they'd have to think up a new storyline, just kind of elaborate it a bit more the way it is, doesn't seem all that hard to do on the creativity side...if anything, it might be boring for them to make, but it'd give an old title new life.

I hope next gen they don't trash talk about other companies strategies and then dive into those same strategies.

that makes them look hypocrites.

Also, I think they already realized they can't afford to have more abysmal losses with a pricey system, so something at the 400$ mark at launch shall be a given.

As for the Software front, I believe they can deliver awesome games to drive sales in the first years.

They may learn with this gen's mistakes.
