yes he did......

I think users shouldn't be able to post news items without a valid link to that source. Or that news items without a valid source should be deleted. For example: http://www.vgcharts.org/news/news.php?id=218 And there was another "news" item up on the main page for quite some time talking about a rumor that FFXIII will be out for the 360 which provided no sources. These types of "news" items should be kept in the forums.

Yeah, sorry, I was just having a bit of fun with that FFXIII article. Kwaad shouldn't have posted a second though...one false article is enough I say, on April Fool's Day anyway...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I'm fine with the April Fools articles. But I would like to see one change made to the news section. The front page displays most viewed articles, but not recent articles. It'd be nice if it showed recent articles as well, as it would get more people viewing all the articles and the front page looking less stagnant.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I don't think it was you who posted the FFXIII article about it being on the 360 (I'm not talking about the "Nintendo buys Square Enix" news item, that was an obvious April fools one). The one I'm refering to was posted or on the front page about a week ago. To be honest, I didn't realize Kwaad's was an April fools news item as well. Probably because I only saw it today, and it was a pretty lame April fools attempt. I agree with stof about there being a place or section on the main page to display most recent news items.
