REVIEWS -

N4G Average - 8.2 - http://n4g.com/Wii/games/g-41017/tt/metareviews.aspx

Metacritic - 81 - http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/redsteel2

- Once again there are huge disparities between reviews, which is never uncommon with Wii games. The averages indicate that the majority love the controls and "feel" of this authentic sword fighting fps.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Well I don't get the concept of the game, a western mixed with japanese themed game in a fictional city in the desert... That's odd. But still, the graphics are impressive, and it looks cool to play. I would have prefer a western game instead, you know with natives and cowboys?

Ever seen Firefly? In my view its a Scifi Western, with asian anime styling and design. It is meant to be different.

I love the concept for no other reason than it's something unique. We've got enough plain grounded in the real world games. It's always nice to see a game remember that one of the best parts about the medium is that it's not tethered to our own humdrum world.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
