So we finally hear some news about Twisted Metal.

I don't think it'll be totally built from scratch in the sense that they'll have entirely new character roster and what not. If I remember right he said something to the effect of, he would try to keep it fresh while pleasing the long time fans of the series.

It's basically a reboot.  Like Warhawk ps1 to Warhawk ps3, though probably not quite as drastic.

The dude in the audience shouting for TWISTED METAL? That was my buddy and- I assume- very drunk analyst Michael Pachter.

He was taking the piss out of me from the safety of the audience and I was hitting him right back. It was all in good fun and anyone who thinks I was being mean, I am sorry. We were just verbally sparring and that's all it was.

I hope they don't have save points or check points after beating a level. Keep it old school and challenge us by beating all the levels in one play through. 4 player split screen would be welcomed as well.
