Jab. Strong. Fierce! Short, Forward, Roundhouse!!
I was quite surprised and impressed by Nintendo acquiring BAYONETTA 2. I wonder if this means that they'll get MGS and FF to come on WiiU, especially if the MH bundle sells out in Japan?
TomaTito mentioned some people want a place in the hype train, I still have the files so I can add anyone who wants, I'll just need a list of people's names :)
If you're going to take charge of the NoA Wii U conference thread, that's totally awesome. Just let me know and I'll make sure you get it.
Also, I would create a brand new thread for the event instead of using the announcement thread. Less confusing that way. Although you can use the announcement thread to say that you're making the official conference thread. ^_^
Input if you can:
A longer response on Steel Diver:
It has seven missions that if you beat with three different subs, unlocks an expert mode (the same missions with more enemies and obstacles). Each mission also has a ghost that you can race to get bronze, silver, and gold medals. There are also eight different time trials which you can also earn medals. There is also a strategy game called Steel Commander which has I believe 9 maps. It is like a video game version of Battleship. Also, there is a periscope mode where you shoot down enemies looking through a periscope. Another thing in the game is that after every mission you get a periscope minigame where you shoot down enemies and earn decals to put on your sub which gives it different abilities if you gain enough decals. So the game's worth depends on you. Are you the type of guy that flies through the game to see everything once or are you the type of guy that likes to master a simple concept?
What's with being upset? :(
I said I understood where you're coming from, and I realize the two games look alike, but the AP meter in lieue of health % or bar makes the whole knockback dynamics disappear (consequently), which is a very big difference in gameplay, be it intentional or not.
As for how you win, it affects gameplay a little more in the sense that edge-guarding will probably not be as important. Also, it won't be a priority to keep your enemy towards the edges of the game. Can't say the same about the modes in smash.
I'll let you go but know that I respect your opinion and we may just all be right at the same time, in that it probably is a rip-off, but that it offers considerable gameplay differences at the same time.
