My apologies. I was multitaskingat the time, and even one so great as I must have certain...limitations. We flawless ones must stick together, though.

I watched Batman & Robin yesterday. Not as good as the Wicker man.

Nicolas Cage was not in Batman and robin or maybe it would have been.

    on 08 April 2013

He should have been cast as Twoface. He'd have been perfect for the role.

Ah, thanks! I did miss it. I'll have to watch it once I have decent internet access again.

1 1/2 weeks into the time change. My nights are fitful, and my mornings exhausting.

Sleep and wakefulness are each their own little hell.

Restful sleep is so important! I hope you get back to normal...

    on 22 March 2013

Thank you for caring, Marucha. This latest time shift seems to have been especially hard on me. I do exaggerate a bit, though. Haha.

Wow thanks for the link :)

No problem. I forgot to mention http://rainwave.cc/ though. I mostly listen to their OCRemix Station, but they also have a VGM station. Users get to vote for the next song too. :D

I see you are playing Illusion of Gaia, great game I will need to finish it since I havent played that much of it.

I am going to play Terranigma soon though! I love it *_*

It's really good, so far. A lot harder than I remember, too. Terrnigma is next on my list. I've heard a lot of good things about it, so I can't wait to get started. :D

Thanks for the add! ^-^ I'm surprised we're not friends yet...

I see you're playing a lot of retro stuff. Good man. Emulator, original carts, or Wii store?

    on 22 February 2013

I mostly play old games on my PSP or phone, so emulators it is. Taking a game with me everywhere I go seems to be the only way I can get myself to finish it. Heh.

    on 22 February 2013

I get that. I get busy and am always multi-tasking so it's hard to find time for games as much... :( I'm starting to go the way of handheld too. I do PC gaming right now, but I haven't played my Wii in a while because of the fact we're not living in our own place (in transition) right now... it just feels weird.

When I get sick, it usually means I can cram in a 100+hr RPG. Or The hubby and I will find a multiplayer to play together. (Like Terraria/Minecraft)

We have two PSPs for the same reason. I keep wanting to send my PSP to my friend in Osaka so he can play it, but at the same time I feel like not letting it go because of emulators...

    on 22 February 2013

I know what you mean. My PSP has basically become a dedicated emulation machine, though.

Must be nice to have a gaming partner. My bro is mine, but he's a huge fan of fighting games, and I'm not at all. He also plays MMOs, but my laptop is too outdated to run any of his favorite games, so no multiplayer there, either. haha.

    on 22 February 2013

I have a laptop. I call it my overheating POS. It runs Minecraft... but I have to turn down settings and that's just too lame :(... Mine I think is about 4 years old. Laptops just aren't really great gaming machines in general unless you put a lot of money into them... at that rate should just get a desktop

    on 22 February 2013

Mine's a Lenovo G530 with a Pentium Dual Core and Intel Express series chipset. The heat! My God the heat! Dusting the fan off helped, but I still couldn't even get a decent framerate in Maplestory with this thing. : 1080p Youtube is out of the question too.

Desktops are definitely the way to go if you don't travel too much. I'm saving up to build myself one this summer, which is actually why I'm stuck playing retro games today. (Not that I mind, though. :P)

    on 22 February 2013

The overheating issue with mine is because it's an HP and the vents/cooling is crap. I actually had to get a better heatsink/fan through my service plan because of it... it has AMD dual core with a decent graphics, so that doesn't help. It runs things "OK", but if I own a desktop, why bother putting up with any frame lag?

:) Nothing wrong with retro. A lot of times I am playing games on older systems anyway. There's still stuff I have yet to finish playing...

    on 22 February 2013

I hope newer laptops have risen above the horrible overheating problems of the past, but somehow I doubt it. From what I hear, laptops with AMD chips aren't half bad. Their built-in GPUs are apparently "streets ahead" of Intel's. I wouldn't buy another one, though. Notebooks are just too expensive for what you get, imo, and I don't think I'll be needing one for business purposes.

Yes, Retro games are a lot of fun. Especially Snes titles. They're a lot harder than today's games, though. Then again, that isn't really a bad thing.

Friend got married a few years ago, and his wife said "no more video games." Like an idiot, he obeyed and offered to give me his PS3 for $50 rather than selling it to GameStop.

Needless to say I happily bought it. =)

I wish I had a friend with a wife like that....

    on 20 February 2013

That's a crappy situation. And I say this as a wife.
