Yeah I was expecting an easier first boss from past my past Zelda experiences. That one had me on my feet ready for a sword fight haha. I'm pretty sure I almost rolled into my girlfriend who was watching while I was trying to evade one of his attacks.

Your late post made me realize I still haven't finished SS. I got to the desert level before the Temple of Time and made it pretty far. Unfortunately, I forgot to save and ended up turning my wii off making me lose interest in collecting all those pieces again. I better get to beating it before Xenoblade releases.
