I don't know if you read the Hannibal (if not, please, go ahead) but what happens in Hannibal Rising is already told in that book (I mean the fact that during the war those soldiers attacked Hannibal and his sister and somehow forced him to eat her... his gilt). Actually, imo, it fit really well, it was a wondrous revelation at the time.

Haven't read the book no, I really should and probably will soon but I'm not really a book kind of guy so I've put it off a long time. (Read like 3 books in my life)

Hmm I wouldn't say it was the story of Hannibal Rising (Because that was quite interesting) that bothered me, more just that it was a horrible movie (Actors etc).

Thanks! I just saw it and... man... it's not worth it. People talking there don't know what they are talking about, they handle weak and futile arguments and information and I have been into this kind of debates... I just don't feel like it right now. Maybe later. Thanks for bringing it up though!
