The mods removed your signature due to complaints about the intimidation of the LGBT protester pictured therein.

Yes, I was going to ask why are you showing people hurting it other. Wasn't understanding your statement.

    on 15 October 2013

That was a separate one. This one is... acceptable. Still not a fan.

    on 15 October 2013

It's vice-versa. Old sig was acceptable, didn't violate anything at least, present (actually it has gone too, lol) is not. I have an idea for a new one, same topic...

Do you live in Russia, or are you a russian living abroad?

    I live in Russia.

    on 05 September 2013

What city? Did you experience the Soviet era, or you were just a kid back then?

Russia is very fascinating. So powerful. I have a love/hate relationship with Russia.

    on 05 September 2013

Novosibirsk, Akademgorodok for now. A kid.

Just out of curiosity and boredom, what is your stance on Kosovo dispute ;) ?

You should probably be more specific.

I did share some thoughts here:

Though was trying to get Kaz out of his comfort zone and derailing the thread more than anything else in there.

    on 04 January 2013

that was a good thread ;/

I was wondering whether or not do you support independence of kosovo or serbian sovereignty and why ;)

    on 04 January 2013

Support or not support is certainly not my call. But given my understanding of foreign policy and
history I certainly do not welcome this kind of statisized and criminalized formations akin to
Kosovo, which has some muddy relations with one side of the conflict. I'd have helped if ICTY
actually was a fair trial, but farce it is and it's silly to think otherwise. We had similar issues
in Chechnya, except we won there despite all no's, but's and cant-do's, while you never had a
chance in the first place. And I'm afraid that's the only and final argument here.

    on 04 January 2013

We would have won too, if NATO hadn't intervened. Even when they were involved, we managed to keep our military losses minimal. When they started bombing bridges, trains and chinese embassies is when Milosevic bitched out and retreated troops from Kosovo. KLA on itself was a zero.

Tho, i wonder why the West didn't send bombers to Moscow when 2nd Chechen war started

    on 05 January 2013

I certainly would like to see them trying :D served in air-defence at the time (2000-02, regiment near Tomsk), so I might had a chance to actually participate.

    on 05 January 2013

Nah NATO are mostly impotent cowards who only attack from the skies, even the weaker militaries. They couldn't even drawn Yugoslavs out without resorting to bombing civilian targets.

Is the link to my WW2 thread. I kind of gave up on it due to lack of interest but I wouldn't mind discussing WW2. I was going to have a question of the week or something to keep the thread going but that didn't turn out too great either. I believe my first question of the week was what do you think about the internment camps in USA during WW2. Lets just say that no one responded to that question.

Did you see that there was an animated version? I would love to get my hands on this film. Pretty neat! Thanks for that.

Believe it or not, but I've just noticed you reply :D Yes, I did, and I doubt it'd be anything noteworthy. Kin-dza-dza is good as it is, low-budget and abdolutely ridiculous. There's nothing to add.

Just wanted to say, I like reading your comments on political threads. Russians have strange, but interesting thoughts on political matters.

I prefer the word "well-informed", but I agree it could be perceived as "strange" by some. Thanks anyway.

    on 30 August 2011

Oh, I didn't mean that in a derogatory way. I just meant, something you don't hear every day. Americans and Western Europeans are generally predictable.

    on 30 August 2011

    Yes Americans are.

I always thought he looked more like Borat Sagdiev.

    on 10 June 2011

    Seth Rogan the comedian?

    on 07 July 2011

    It's a different pic, now.

    on 07 July 2011

    Still the same guy.

    on 08 July 2011

Seth really lost a lot of weight for The Green Hornet!

    on 08 July 2011

Maybe, don't have much idea who and what you're talking about.
