It was the only store in this district that had it in perfect condition. It was a gift for my bf so I had to make sure it was nice. He'd been looking for it for months. lol XD
That sucks. The manager at the Gamestop here just transferred back from the one close to my apartment. I managed to find Dark Cloud 2 perfect condition at that Gamestop though so I guess that's a good indication it might be a decent store.
I'm a bit jealous to be honest...I'm moving in 2 weeks so I'm hoping the Gamestop by my new apartment will be awesome but generally the employees around here kind of suck. I miss the play n trade that shut down here. At least then I could get N64 games too. :/
That's pretty awesome. My Gamestop has all of their GBA games in a small cardboard box...It's almost too much of an eyesore to try to look into. :/
This might sound like a dumb question. But do you buy a lot of games in bulk or just add them when you remember you have them? :P I just ask because you tend to add a lot of games at once. :P
Ok..it was actually funny for the 1st page of the thread but then it got very annoying
I have a suggestion. If people keep moaning aout statistical ties in this weeks worldwide thread (see last weeks to see why I'm annoyed) then can the word statistical tie be banned or something, it was so annoying last week.
I've never played one of those text based games, its so old skool I never tried lol. Yeah I think it should have lots of launch titles, not sure how the quality of them will be, I guess we'll have a much clearer picture at E3. The 3DS and NGP will probably become the JRPG machines once again, will be interesting to see how JRPG devs adapt to the 3D graphics, on DS many of them were just 2D
didn't want a portable PS2. The DS had so many unique games compared to it. But then like I said, its the JRPG that made me like the PSP again...without JRPG's, really what does PSP have.
might have difficulty adjusting to a PS3 control scheme. So yeah they could both harm each other. But I just read SONY is only giving dev kits out to devs who make a 20 page document saying what game they want to make for NGP, maybe this will make sure NGP gets its games? I'm not sure though, many of those games may not get past the planning stages. Yeah my main problem with PSP was the same, I di
Yeah I'd rather spend that money on cheap old PC point n click adventure games (the latest thing I've gotten into recently). Yeah the coutner argument would be that the greed of some devs was preventing creative games from being made on NGP. "Why not port this PS3 game to net extra 400K sales instead of makoing a game just for NGP"...and if their NGP game uses the touchpad behind the screen it mig
...sacrifices that must be made. But for example SE might think its wise to release FF15 on PS3/NGP...cross platform. Kojima seems excited to do cross platform games. I bet NGP will be region free, SONY has kinda tried to become more open as a dev. Yeah actually PS1 gen has big differences too (even FF7 compared to FF9 is a big difference).
lol you should see one of the NGP threads, some people were saying they would definetely rebuy games and they are proud of it. A few others agreed, each to their own but I see that was really wasting money. Well cross platform games will lead to the stigma of NGP holding back some of the games, I don't know the precise details of how much NGP can handle, but at some point I bet there must be sacri
Hehe, no problem. The guy is so obvious. I'm well aware of his posting pattern, and seeing the dates in which he joined only makes it more obvious.
PS3 being hard to programme I think is the reason why we see sequels this generation be leaps and bounds beyond their predecessors compared to last gen anyway (I'm talking about sequels made just within this gen, like AC2 from AC1 and UC2 from UC1
I hated the PSP back in 2006 too, but I got it again recently for JRPG's and like it a lot now. It has so many experiences you can't get on PS3. Luckily for us NGP will probably be huge in Japan so that Japanese support should remain...its still gonna probably be cheaper to make NGP games than PS3 ones.
I hope PS3 owners won't pay premium for that, I hate the idea of it, I mean I would never ever buy a game twice, not even MGS4 (my fav game ever). I think we might see 2 versions of each game now, one that includes a NGP version and one thats just the PS3 version.
I think NGP's biggest problem is PS3 ports (that are easy to do), if it just becomes a portable PS3 then *yawn*. At least PSP became one of THE places to play JRPG's.
