Matrix 4 Officially a Go With Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Lana Wachowski

in Movies Discussion on 21 August 2019

I only liked the first movie for its metaphors and action. I don't like the lore of this series that much and it just seems to get more convoluted over time. I imagine a lot of retconning will be required to get these characters back together.  ...

    What's your Norwood scale?

in General Discussion on 21 August 2019

vivster said: I had something between 1-2 all my life. Thanks, dad. Are you complaining you don't have #1? I'm pretty sure #1 and #2 are just different starting points. I personally find people with #1 looking weird as their hairline is too low. To each their own. ...

    What's your Norwood scale?

in General Discussion on 21 August 2019

I was born with #2 and will remain #2 probably for the rest of my life. I don't agree with the receding hairline thing. I've always had this hairline, and so does most of my family. My grandfathers both had their hair into their 90s when they died. My father is in his 60s with the same hairline. I had #2 as a child. This is just an alternative style of hair to #1 imo as I've seen people outside...

GoT season 8 final episode 6 tonight. (spoiler discussion) Fin. The end... for ever.

in General Discussion on 21 August 2019

I feel vindicated after this series failed. The ending was a joke of epic proportions. I look forward to the books having their own unique problems based on all the characters whom were written into unredeemable corners and the fact that there's about 10x the amount as there is in the show. Although I admittedly hate watched the show in disgust, part of me wish it succeeded so the bar for good...

Metroid Prime Trillogy HD - All three games remastered in HD, new Joy-Con controls, HD Rumble support, coming January 3rd, 2020I really hope Metroid Prime 4 is the Breathe of the Wild for Metroid. The Prime series was great and I would buy them again, but I do think after all this time the series needs drastic improvements to really bring Metroid back. Metroid has kind of fallen off. It never...

Director's/Extended Cuts that massively improved a film?

Was Epstein murdered and should we care?

in Politics Discussion on 11 August 2019

The cameras malfunction and he was under restrictions that made suicide nearly impossible. Seems like murder is more likely than suicide. People are calling this a conspiracy, but out of entertainment I actually did some research. The typical conspiracy theorist crowd believe he is alive and swapped with a fall guy or just given protection from his elite friends. I believe the murder theory has...

How Many Hours Have You Logged on Your Most Played Game?

in General Discussion on 11 August 2019

Probably 5,000 in Halo 3, but it's not even my favorite video game. It just had a lot of longevity for me and many friends who continued to play it for years. It was extremely addictive, had a well populated community (it still holds the record for most weeks at #1 of any game on xbox live - second place is Halo 2) and I feel it had a ton of variety and things to do. I just want a Halo game to be...

House minority leader trying to blame video games for mass shootings. Update: Walmart pulls violent video game ads for 2 weeks

in Politics Discussion on 11 August 2019

It's totally incorrect to blame video games. My hope here is that GOP are actually using some sort of strategy to protect our gun rights, but I've seen the left also blame video games in past decades. This is most likely just a boomer issue and their generation not understanding video games.  ...

Are we all becoming pagan again?

in Politics Discussion on 11 August 2019

I’m Christian and only support monogomy. 1 man per woman on the earth and I think it’s the morally responsible position. Im also vegan and straight edge and right wing on most political positions. What you support is degeneracy not paganism. Pagans often lived in monogomy and simply had tribes and druids. Polygamy is not just going to send you to hell because it is evil, but also the...

i hate smartphones. worst purchase decision i made a few years ago was to get one. the cost for data is ridiculous. as for which phone i have: a white 256 gb iphone xs max. i had to buy a phone which could sort of force me since data is so much to use it but i still barely use it. i also just hate smartphones from a trch ical aspect. they take (at least in iphone case) poorer quality photos than...

in General Discussion on 05 August 2019

7.8/10 Too much water. (Unfortunately I'd probably rate it much lower if I were being honest). I watched it in theaters as a kid. Mewtwo was cool I guess, but that was explored in the tv show and the game left plenty of room for imagination. I suppose it did give good closure after what happened in the tv show. Like most Pokemon movies most of the enjoyment just came due to the whole atmosphere...
