Instant communication to everyone in the country and potentially the world is dumb? You would rather have the msm try and get you the facts, so you can figure out who's facts are correct or more worthy and who's are not? Were prior Presidential radio or TV announcements dumb? Would they have become dumb if they were held more often? If they said dumb things would it be ok since they were live?

Official announcements from the past tend to be "Hey, the government really needs to tell you something in an accurate, succinct, and direct way". It becomes "dumb" when they become "Hey, the president is currently mad and on the toilet, so here's some thoughts".

Its not the frequency that causes them to become dumb, it is the lack of care.

Did the Gov do that because they finally had something important to tell the people, or was it because they lacked the ability to get a message out in an easier fashion more often where the majority could knowingly be tuned in? Are relationships or families stupid? Better to have a few bigger events like marriage or showers from time to time, while maintaining a more laid back lifestyle with constant minor events in between? Maybe nothing but one night stands on occasion would be better for everyone?

I can't disagree that a tweet about the Prez being mad and on the toilet would be unnecessary and not exactly what you want to know from him, but then again, the Prez has to deal with the same stupidity or unwarranted hatred thrown his way. I don't think it's fair to say the Prez is simply there to be a punching bag, and I doubt Trump thinks that's ok either, so if you want to poke the bear because he's threatening or endangering you, that's one thing, but when the bear is trying to sleep or minding his own business, you're asking for a reaction and very well may pay for it eventually.

I'd have to disagree somewhat. I'm quite sure if Trump only said positive things as often as he tweets now, he would still get a lot of crap thrown at him verbally. It may be slightly less crap, but that's still too much for most to handle, so as I've said before, if you're put into a no win situation, you might as well just do whatever you want, which is likely at least partially his reasoning for doing so. You could say he should just stop tweeting and then he or anyone else won't have to deal with it, but he will still, since the msm or his political opposition will completely have their way with him through their channels and he won't be able to get a timely message out to the people. Twitter is Trumps media weapon against the msm, and like many weapons, they're not always used just for battle.
