State of Play set for May 9th; No PS5 news but a New game will be revealed (Square Enix teasing something)

I liked this one.

The first one looked just like a bunch of trailers for games that most don't give a danm. This time, MH and FFVII made it special.

Shame it's too short though.

Other than that game looks good. Doesn't seem like the XV combat but more so Crisis Core.

Seems harsh but the best things they shown were MH/FFVII and they don't really add much, the MH stream right after was better and we knew that we probably would have seen more FFVII at E3. Why a small teaser for FFVII? Teasers should be for a new game. Imagine seeing a red haired women run trough a forest and hear a T-rex Roar.......Dino Crisis see more at E3 that's an great teaser. Predator was a good announcement but except for the name I am not excited for the game...:s. For sony it is lackluster and it should not be hard to make it better. I wish they still did PS2 games on PS4. Release more of them (the SMT games/persona etc) and announce them at state of play and people would be happy.

Good to see F7R coming along and with a more realisticly set graphical ceiling shich is great as we may actually get all three parts before 10th gen.

I'd rather have two big games than 10 small games. This state of play looked more extraordinary while the first one looked too ordinary to me.

I still don't like that carousel like animation they use to connect everything, it looks too much like Nintendo Direct format. I still hope they stop being cheap and make a true programme with presenters and some commentary.
