I've not heard that rumour before, but from the listings I've seen on some sites Steep itself is coming to the Switch later this year.

This doesn't mention Ubisoft so my bad. But a 1080 is on the way. Steep has been delayed a few times so wouldn;t surprise me if the speculation turned out to be true.  At this point makes more sense than porting a game everyone forgot exists anyway years late.
