Amiibo Party Mode. The following Amiibo can be used in this mode, which includes read/write abilities similar to that of Smash Bros (meaning you cannot use the amiibo for both games:
Using one of the indicated amiibo, players can use them as a game-piece in a themed board based on that amiibo. The themed boards also have their own hidden features and powerups. Players can also earn and save special items and new in-game bases to that amiibo
In addition, any other amiibo can be used with the game in limited capactiy. By using other amiibo, you can win Mario Party points that can be used on items in the Mario Party 10 game.
