So after seeing Sony's E3 conference, while I stand be my assessment that they had the worst conference of the big 3 and that I'm disappointed in their performance, they did something to catch my intrest. The Destiny bundle. Actually, let's be more specific. It's not the Destiny bundle, it's the white PS4 you get with it. It's beautiful and I want it. I really don't want Destiny, and I'll probably end up returning it, but I really like that white PS4.

It's a shallow reason to want a new system, so I'll also explain that the major reason I'm considering the PS4 is obviously to play 3rd party games. I don't really care for Playstation IPs except for God of War and ones they don't really care about making anymore like Jak & Dakster, Ratchet & Clank, and Sly Cooper. I was planning on waiting until next year to decide if I would invest in a PS4, but with the Destiny bundle, I may have to decide more quickly, hense the questions.

But first, a disclaimer:

I like all three companies. I obviously like Nintendo's games more, I like their controllers more, and conquently, I tend to like their consoles more. That won't be an issue for many of you, but there are a select few that I already know are ready to turn an innocent topic about a potencial console purchase into an immature back and forth about which company is better. If you are one of those people, just dont post. I will probably respond to some answers in a way that clearly reflects why I prefer the Wii U, a Steam Machine, and even the XBO in some cases, to the PS4. Obviously the mere fact that this topic is being made means that there are a lot of things I prefer on the PS4, but to that small few that probably won't matter. If you can't handle hearing what may be criticism about Sony, their games, their policies, or their hardware, JUST DON'T POST.

That is all.

1. Will the white PS4 be available after the bundle or is that a limited edition thing?

The biggest thing holding me back is that the PS4 simply isn't worth purchasing right now. None of the big three are. I have a rule that I don't purchase a system until there are at least five must have games on the console, or for Nintendo, a new Zelda or Pokemon. That all went down the drain last year when Nintendo announced that they were remaking my favorite game of all time, Wind Waker. If it wasn't for that, I most likely wouldn't own a Wii U right now as I still don't think it's worth the purchase. All it has is Mario Kart. It will have Smash by the end of the year and Zelda next year, but that's it. Three must own games by the end of next year.

With the PS4, it feels even worse. I see one game that I feel is a must own, and that is No Man's Sky. That, on top of the white PS4, is making me seriously consider buying one early and breaking that rule again. Unfortunately, that brings up another issue.

2. Can No Man's Sky be played without PS+?

That question also applies to Destiny. While I genuinely don't have a real interest in Destiny because it kind of looks boring, since it comes with the PS4, I may as well give it a try before returning it. Here's the thing though, I don't do paid online. I think it's bullshit and a scam and in Sony's case, a direct result of their overall business going to shit. I'm never paying for it, so please don't try and convince me.

I know that there are some technicalities to just what kind of games require PS+, but I'm unfamiliar with what exactly those technicalities are. I think that No Man's Sky is one of those games that wouldn't require PS+ because online is required to play the game, but I'm not sure. That will have a great impact on if I really do invest in a PS4, at least this soon.

3. What big, AAA, single player, 3rd Party games should I get for the PS4?

Since I wouldn't have PS+ with this hypothetical PS4, I'd be restricted to single player games. So what should I get. Here's the catch;

A.) I'm not interested in anything that has come out so far, so only name me games that will come out anytime after today.

B.) There has to be gameplay of it. If it only has a CGI trailer, it's not done enough to be on my radar. Even if there's only 10 seconds of gameplay, it's enough.

C.) Name me the release date/window. If the game has no launch window, that fine. Just put "TBD." I want to know how long I'd have to wait to play games I'm interested in.

D.) They can't require PS+, so if you can think of a big multiplayer game that doesn't require PS+, that's fine too.

E.) No indies. It's redundant, but no indies. I know that No Man's Sky is indie. No indies.

Now I probably already know about all of the games you guys will name. That isn't the point of this question. The point is to remind me. Right now, the only games I can remember that intest me are No Man's Sky, The Witcher 3, and GTA V remastered because I never finished it. I know there are more that I'm forgetting. Refresh my memory.

Convince me to get a PS4 this year! Go!

1. Doubt it.

2. Hasn't been confirmed yet.

3. The Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Knight, Kingdom Hearts 3, The Last of Us remastered (If you haven't played the first.)
