While some people will hate these games they are clearly loved by many. I don't understand why you hope they cease to exist? Because they aren't your cup of tea? So what just play something else. You can't be expected to love everything.
If you are mad that they are causing other developers to mimic these guys. Be angry at those other developers for going for the cheap buck instead of making their own experiences. If you think they are bringing the industry down, be happy that they are keeping the masses interested in consoles. Because otherwise the market would be far smaller and consoles might indeed start dying out.
