This is an opinion made by a driven, anti-nintendo fanboy.
The proof:
The balance board, the wheel and the zapper are aimed at the casual market. The assumption is that the majority of the casual market already owns these for the Wii, so this is a non-issue, they are already informed on these products.
2) The Pro controller is intended for hobbyists, who by definition are informed, another non-issue.
3) The pad controller is not a lug, tablets are not lugs, they are considered as some of the most human-friendly HW interfaces ever created (as the iPad can show, granny will not sink, rather she will fly playin angry birds).
