Why not? All the Nintendo handheld Castlevania's since the GBA launched have been Metroidvanias.

True, but that doesn´t mean they´ll always be Metroidvanias...the guy says "fans may not be happy with the direction of the game"....if he´s right, we´re probably looking at a 3D Castlevania..

I haven´t seen a single screen and know nothing about the game, but if it´s indeed a 3D iteration, it´s already enough for me to lose interest..especially on a handheld.
